Pastor Ken Pruitt officiated at the service, held at First Baptist Church of Fairfield. Mrs. LaVergne was born December 19, 1962 in Battle Creek, Michigan to John Coffing and LaJune Highley Coffing. New Galley Family President Debbie Walsh stepped down as the current Galley
family president due to schedule conflicts.
Contacts through WebsiteCarol Friend just contacted me. Her father was a Cover and they just ran across our information after his death. Our website continues to bring new relatives and also other Galley/Galle's that are testing to see if they are related. April Campbell contacted me. She lives in State College Pa and was doing a report on family genealogy when she ran across our website. She is from the Barbara Galley branch and we are getting updates from her. It's excited to see people using the internet to find their ancestors and roots. Evelyn Grace Galle contacted me from Brazil. Her grandfather migrated from Germany to the southern part of Brazil where many Germans reside and we are trying to find out if there is any connections between our lines. Lucky for her I speak Portuguese!!! She is a wonderful young lady and I am enjoying getting to know her. We have also been contacted by a Brian Galle of Michigan who is trying to see if he is related to us as well as a David Galley who came from Italy. We may have some of them taking the DNA test to see where they stand. A David Galle just contacted me about his Galle lines that came from the south part of Italy. David is going to take the DNA test I've also been hearing from many cousins via email. |
